Since 1990, over 100 students of MIT’s Departments of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering have graduated from the Program in Polymers and Soft Matter, founded in 1986 as the Program in Polymer Science and Technology.
